Onyx Line
MetalChallenge. A discreet, weighty card for a private banking tier. Direction. Matte-black metal with fine etched pinstripe lines and a tone-on-tone mark.
Contour
MetalChallenge. An outdoors-brand card with a sense of place. Direction. Bronze metal with a fine topographic contour engraving.
Frost
Virtual · PlasticChallenge. A light, modern card that reads on any screen. Direction. A frosted brushed-silver finish adapted across virtual and plastic.
Halo
MetalChallenge. A warm, premium rewards card. Direction. Deep burgundy metal with a single embossed ring motif.
Vector Blue
PlasticChallenge. A confident everyday card for a challenger bank. Direction. Glossy cobalt plastic with printed geometric linework.
Skyline
MetalChallenge. A city-launch edition metal card. Direction. Graphite metal engraved with an abstract skyline.
Linen
PlasticChallenge. A card for a savings brand that wanted warmth without looking soft. Direction. Matte off-white plastic with a woven texture that only appears under raking light, and a single olive mark placed where a thumb does not sit.
Signal
PlasticChallenge. One colour, no imagery, and it still had to be recognisable at arm's length. Direction. Saturated cobalt in a soft matte finish, cut by a single hairline that carries the whole design.
Edge
PlasticChallenge. A challenger brand wanted its colour visible while the card sits in a wallet. Direction. A bone-white face with a coral printed edge, so the brand reads from the side of the stack rather than the front.
Tide
VirtualChallenge. A virtual-first card that had to hold up on a phone screen at night. Direction. Deep teal with a slow horizontal gradient, tested against a dark interface rather than a white artboard.
Nocturne
VirtualChallenge. Two tiers that had to be told apart in a wallet stack, not side by side. Direction. A near-black dot texture against a warm grey, distinguishable from the sliver of card the stack actually shows.
Quarry
MetalChallenge. Full-colour artwork on metal, which is usually where a design falls apart. Direction. A stone gradient printed over brushed steel so the grain reads through the lighter passages, held inside an engraved border.
Ember
MetalChallenge. A gold card that needed to avoid looking like every other gold card. Direction. Warm gold PVD with the pattern pushed into the lower third only, leaving the upper half empty so the finish does the work.
Strata
Virtual · Plastic · MetalChallenge. One identity across three materials that each reflect light differently. Direction. A single horizontal band, redrawn for each substrate: printed on plastic, engraved on metal, and rendered flat on screen.
Vellum
PlasticChallenge. A quiet card that still needed one moment of expense. Direction. Matte cream with a vertical copper foil band, positioned so it catches light as the card is drawn from a wallet.
Band
RingChallenge. A payment ring worn daily, so it had to survive being ordinary jewellery. Direction. A plain brushed titanium band with one recessed groove, and the contactless mark engraved inside where only the wearer sees it.
Tessera
KeyfobChallenge. A keyfob for a transit programme that would live in a pocket with keys. Direction. Soft-touch black on a rounded body, with the contactless mark debossed rather than printed so wear does not remove it.
